Gender Equality remains high on the political agenda for development – in Rwanda, in Germany and internationally – and is a guiding principle and quality feature of our work.
The event “Be bold for change: Be gender champion” brought together the staff of GIZ Rwanda in a friendly competition that allowed them to showcase their knowledge, experience and creativity for promoting gender equality and to get inspired by the achievements of others.
With the event, GIZ Rwanda wanted to celebrate and recognize its collective contributions to the global, national and institutional goals, while supporting exchange and learning between programs and offices. Furthermore, the competition helped to identify success stories and good practices that can be used for reporting/communication purposes, thereby responding to the recommendations from the USE Gender.
